Itheum fosters an open and welcoming environment. Participation in the ecosystem projects and the Itheumโ€™s community is a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Behavior that should be exemplified includes:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language

  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences

  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism

  • Focusing on what is best for the community

  • Showing empathy towards other community members

Projects applying for grants will have a greater chance of success if they can demonstrate:

  • Well-researched and tested ideas with examples of prior work and real-world use cases

  • Ideas differentiated from competitors or ideas that implement innovative technology in the Itheum ecosystem

  • A team with a strong technical background and experience in the projectโ€™s concept and the ability to deliver milestones and adhere to timelines

  • A team that demonstrates an ability to maintain and grow the project

  • A reasonable grant request

  • Responsiveness throughout the application and diligence process

  • Commitment to the Itheum ecosystem, ideally through demonstrated collaboration efforts
