# Section 2: Getting ITHEUM devnet tokens via the Data DEX - Shibuya Testnet

**Step 1)** In the same browser as the one with your MetaMask as setup above, navigate to the following Data DEX App: [http://datadex-demo.itheum.tech\
](http://datadex-demo.itheum.tech)

**Step 2)** Make sure your “Data Seller” account is active on MetaMask

**Step 3)** Click on the “Connect Astar Network Wallet” in the app’s header and select “Metamask”

**Step 4)** You should now be successfully logged into the Data DEX app on the Astar Network Shibuya Testnet, and you will be presented with your account's "dashboard" view.

Note that your ITHEUM token balance on your header will be showing 0. The ITHEUM token is the utility token of the Itheum protocol. It will be used across the Itheum ecosystem for features such as unlocking data access and governance and generally incentivize positive behavior across Itheum's protocol apps and tools.
**Step 5)** Let’s now get some Testnet ITHEUM tokens to use within the Data DEX.

Scroll down to the “ITHEUM Faucet” tile on the Dashboard and click “Send me 50 ITHEUM.”

**Step 6)** MetaMask will ask you to sign the transaction. Click on Confirm.

**Step 7)** You should be able to track the Faucet transaction in real time.

**Step 8)** Once this is complete, you will receive 50 ITHEUM Testnet tokens that are now displayed in your dashboard header.

**Step 9)** Let’s wait a few minutes and use the Faucet again to claim another 50 ITHEUM Testnet tokens. We should now have 100 ITHEUM Testnet tokens in your wallet, which should be sufficient for us to proceed with the other guides.
**Step 10)** You have been using the “Data Seller” account; repeat this Faucet claiming steps for the “Data Buyer” account.

***

Please note that the Faucet limits usage, so you can’t use it too often - if you try this, you will receive error messages.

You are now ready to enter the world of decentralized data brokerage, where you can mint and trade your data as Data NFTs or procure other Data NFTs from the Data NFT Marketplace.

Let’s explore these features.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.itheum.io/product-docs/pre-aithra/pre-aithra-integrators/data-dex-guides/astar-network/guide-1-get-started-with-the-data-dex-on-astar-network/section-2-getting-itheum-devnet-tokens-via-the-data-dex-shibuya-testnet.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
